You hardly get a better value for your money in today's world. A fully-loaded clipping suite with lots of accessories and more "horsepower" than you need. We so far used a rechargeable clipper by Philips for our 4 yr old kid's haircut (we don't trust him with the barber yet) but that had a low battery life -- not unexpected given that it was meant to be a men's grooming accessory. With this one -- no more frustrating moments of that underpowered clipper running out of juice groaning to a halt. Highly recommended.

well, i just want to say that don't go on the reviews where people are saying it plucks your hair instead of trimming them....that is because those guys don't know the angle at which they move the trimmer..it has power, blades are carbon steel...and yes this is German blade.....cord is like 2 meters....and machine is so powerful that you can fell the vibration in you full arm while holding it....i had a month beard..and i did not shave until i get the delivery...rip opened it ..and trimmed my month beard without a problem
