I've been using a Phillips QG3387 trimmer for two years. While the device was good the battery life was awful. So this time I opted for a device where I can install my own batteries. This device (Panasonic ER-GB30K) does a good job of trimming - it's light even with the batteries and simple to use. No attachments but for a single comb. Used it both for beard trimming and trimming hair on the head, works with both though it's not as convenient on the head (the comb is too dense). Overall it's a good product, the pain being lubricating the blade after or before each use. But frankly prefer the device to one in which the battery would shut off mid shave. One more attachment comb with a thinner comb would have made this unbeatable.

It is my first trimmer which i bought a few days back from Flipkart. I got it delivered in 4 days flat. The trimmer is a joy to use and easy to clean as well. You need not mess with chord and charging etc. The only thing Flipkart can do is providing two AAA batteries with the model so that users can start using it instantly!

Amazing product.. delivered within 3 days by cloudtail india.. decent packaging.. Eralier I was confused between Philips QT4001 and this trimmer.. I knew that it didn't come with batteries.. but then I went to look at a local store who provided me the AAA batteries and the charger for around 400.. and the batteries charge within 5 hours at normal use.. so this is where it beat the Philips.. because in other terms .. I suppose both are equivalent..Pros:1)Ergonomical design2)Easy to hold and use3)Compact4)Really silent5)Easy to clean6)Fine trimCons:1)Batteries not included2)You will have to buy charger if you go with rechargables*******IMP, If you think this product is only for people who travel and go out or on the move all the time.. Then you are wrong.. anyone can use it.. never think that this is for travellers only.. I am a student I dont go out much and I still bought it.. Its a great product.. really well designed.. Loved It..Dont think much just push for it.. and don't Try for Nova trimmers.. they have less lifetime..Hope I helped You .. Cheers!!

everything is good but its blade is not that wide like the other panasonic trimmer that is available with rechargeable wire. But the one with wire is problematic because its charger gets damaged. it happened in three cases with me and my friends. so i finally shifted to aaa battery operated one. thank you

The box was open and not sealed.The outer box seems it is used one or damaged while opening..Inner main device is packed in normal polythene. does not looks like Panasonic company would be doing such packing .Product seems to be good and working. There is no battery with this box. Battery cell need to be bought separately.There is no manual to let us know how to open and clean the device after use.. I think there should be some paper or manual for this.
