Installed software through supplied CD but none of the machine buttons worked, though scanner light was on. Even though Utilities like OCR and Copy utility installed but was not functional. Repeated UNINSTALLING and INSTALLING through the CD or even through Epson India site did not work through USB 2.0 connectivity on Windows 10 platform. Software installation was done as per company's prescribed process. Even company's engineer could not make it work. Left with no option than to return the machine. Seems to be a software compatibility problem. Even Warranty registration reflected expiry in Sept 2018 instead of Feb 2019. The machine was already registered. It seems some other buyer bought and returned the machine to supplier who in turn re-sold to me. Returned the product. The Courier pick-up guy was not trained to handle a delicate Scanner machine. His handling of machine's packaging was very crude.

I received the scanner early in the morning on Jan 18 (ahead of the 8pm deadline) :)The product works as advertised and gives crisp clear scans. It was especially useful with it's portability as I was able to get copies of certain documents firsthand from originals (instead of photocopies) as this works off the USB port and I carried a laptop along.No issues observed with the product and am satisfied with the purchase!

The product was purchased on 7th Aug 2028. On receiving the product it was realised the product has limitations on warranty based on shipping date from manufacturer and not based on purchase date by customer. Finally when I checked the product warranty on aprons website it show the warranty remaining on product was just 7 months... it is always better to buy products in shops than online.

This is an excellant product. The software that accompanied in CD is excellent. I tried only full auto mode scanning. It has few other modes like Home, Office, Professional etc. For me the full auto-mode is enough and it scans efficiently. There is no separate power cord and its nice and simple with just USB cable. I love this product.
