If you were using an ordinary cooker it'll take time to get used to this one. Saves a lot of time. Cooks everything pretty fast. One "whistle" is good enough for a proper cooked meal!The "weight" and the cooker outer body is prone to scratches. Use soft scrubber. Don't use steel ones.
Hawkins Futura is a good cooker,it's handle is not!

The cooker is fantastic.No argument there.The handle is so delicate that the cooker fell ,empty,from stove top to kitchen counter top,a height of 6 inches maybe and the handle broke at the point where it attaches to the cooker body.I did a wise thing and ordered TWO handles from Amazon.
