Beware of faulty cookers!

I've got a faulty product. The cooker's beautiful but the one I got is non-functional as the opening for the safety valve let's all the steam escape.
Amazingly, the safety valve in the pressure cooker isn't having all the components and I've been foolishly trying to cook in it while the steam was escaping right in front me, wondering why this is happening. My engineering degree didn't help. :D
And hell I noticed it when 10 days had already passed, and now I'm having a lovely time talking to Flipkart Customer care who of course are denying to register a complaint. Yeah partly my fault because I had never thought that this can happen on Flipkart and I also missed my 10 days leverage of getting a replacement.
Beware guys! Check the cooker thoroughly when you receive it.
