I was trying to buy the orient power saver fan but none of the sellers shipped to my location. On further searching found this Havells ES-50 . A 5 start rated fan and while it wont make a big difference to my power bill considering its only a fan but it keep in line with the over all objective of reducing the power being consumed in the house along with Switching to LED lights. About the Fan. I think it looks pretty good. The shape of the head with the two gold rings actually make it look good when off and even better when its on. It goes on the regular regulator which makes me wonder if it really is giving the power saving benefits . The speed is good and the wind noise is about the same as I have heard with any fan with rotates at this speed. Air circulation is also pretty strong so over all its a good product and in my view worth it. Shipping from flipkart was quick 3 days saved me a trip to the store I ordered when I was away on holiday so got delivered and got fixed by the building electrician by the time I got back which is the advantage of online shopping. shipping Cost Rs 300 extra but it did get delivered in a pretty big box so I guess it is more expensive to ship. Cost Overall including shipping for about 2100 . Bought it during the app sale so there was some discount available . Overall its seems like a good fan with the power saving and the looks would be a good buy.
